Horse Boarding & Sales
At La Cantera Ranch, we offer a full service equine boarding and care facility, complete with horse show boarding, overnight boarding, as well as special care for the older horses that need extra attention. We also offer American quarter horses for sale, on an as-available basis.
Boarding
Let us spoil your horses so all you have to do is ride.
Stay at our facility in the house or the ranch mobile home. Instead of renting stalls at the John Justin arena, and staying at a hotel, show your horses in Fort Worth and then come back to La Cantera for the evening. Stalls for horses, kennels for dogs and a bed & breakfast for you.
Reiners and Cutters – two separate arenas. The reining arena is 150×225 and the cutting practice pen is 90×100 with a mechanical cow.
Our facility features:
- 40 acres
- a 8-stall barn
- Hot and cold running water
- Bathroom in barn, washer/dryer
- Wash rack
- 12×12 stalls, with 12×24 runs
- a 150×225 arena and a 90×100 arena

We offer full service boarding and care. Horses are fed and stalls get cleaned 2-3 times per day. Sandy arena, round pen, and horse walker are available. There are turnout or 12×12 stalls with 24-foot runs. Senior care is also available for older horses that need special attention. Health papers and Coggins required.
Horses are checked during the day and before bed. Overnight stalls $15, overnight hookups $15.

“Kacha Dual Pep”

Four-year-old old Sorrell, blaze, out of the great cutting horse Dual Pep. In reining training now becaase I like all my horses super trained. She is a big stopper. Very quiet. She has had John Lyons and Clinton Anderson round pen training and colt starting. We ride her on the acreage across the street on trails and she never spooks. We’re selling because we travel too much to have a young horse. This is a good minded filly. Her mother and her sister are reining horses but she would make a cutter due to her bloodlines. She tries to “cow” the dog when I am in the arena working her. If we would keep her, she would go to the cutters. Starting her on the mechanical cow this month. Asking $3,500.
“Kacha Von Reminic”

Beautiful, Sorrell, blaze face, stout, 14.2 hands, great conformation. Her sire is the Million Dollar sire, Von Reminic. This mare has a lot of heart and try. +1 spins, +1/2 circles. She has 3.5 yrs of Reining Training. Asking $12,000 for her.
